Konya is my town. Konya is a city in the Anatolia Region of Turkey. Konya is Turkey's city of whirling Dervishes. There are a lot of historical places and natural beauties in this city and transportation is very easy in Konya. It has many museums, many tombs and a lot of mosques. For examples; Mevlana Mosque, Mevlana Tomb, Konya Castle, Beyşehir Castle... There is a traditional religious celebration in Konya, it calls "wedding night" which is celebrated on 17th December. The weather of Konya is very cold and snowy in winter. At this time, don't think you can have a holiday. But Konya is hot in summer time. you can go there in this time and you can have a nice holiday. Also you can go cycling and hunting in Konya.
